What if? It’s amazing how those two words can cause so much distress to our peace of mind. This world is full to the brim with what-ifs and uncertainties, so it is only natural that people find themselves looking to psychics and mediums such as myself for guidance and answers. Most often I find that my clients are searching for clues and reassurance about their relationships with family, friends and romantic partners. Below I have listed the six relationship questions I am asked most commonly. 1. Will I meet my soulmate? This is the No. 1 relationship-related question my clients ask me; whether the person is single and searching for love or in a relationship but questioning if they’re with the right person. If you’re in an unsatisfying or unhealthy relationship it is only normal to find yourself questioning its quality. An unsatisfying partnership can leave you feeling alone in the world and worrisome that you may never find the happiness in a relationship you see everyone around you is receiving. This is where I come in. As a psychic and passionate practitioner of cartomancy, I have the ability to give guidance in the who, what and where of any romance question you may have. 2. Is my spouse cheating on me? The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy estimates that 25 percent of men and 15 percent of women in long-term relationships have cheated on their partner by having sex with someone else. If emotional affairs are factored in, those percentiles are even higher. With this in mind, it comes as no surprise to me that people come seeking help to alleviate their fears or confirm their suspicions. So that my clients can get the most out their readings I usually request that they do their best to try to be patient and let the cards reveal the answers they seek. I am opposed to clients explaining what is going on in their relationship. This is to ensure that the information I am receiving is coming from an intuitive source rather than just my analytical mind. 3. Will my affair partner leave their spouse for me? Some may find this question a little risque, but I never judge nor criticize my clients. Sometimes we fall in love at inopportune times and I hold no right to decide if that is right or wrong. I believe that we all have our own journey that is meant to teach us and help our souls grow in awareness and love. Keeping that in mind, I know that is only my job to guide with intuition not to judge. 4. How can I get this person to like to love me back? I find that many of my single clients feel that is hard dating in today's world. Getting ghosted has become all too common, and more and more people are having to face the pain of unrequited love. The truth is I can’t answer this question. True love is not forced into reciprocation. It may be that you’re just not asking the right question. You see I believe that we accept the love we think we deserve, and if the love you’re accepting and chasing is one-sided I feel that is what we should be exploring. 5. Is my divorce or breakup a failure at love? I don’t need to reference my cards to answer this question, it’s no. A breakup or a divorce is actually proof of the opposite. The ending to a long term relationship can feel as though you’ve wasted precious time, but it’s actually a signal that this partnership has fulfilled the role it was meant to play in your life. Leaving that relationship is actually a huge victory for your soul’s path, it means your soul has completed its lesson. For example, for people who leave abusive marriages or relationships, the lesson is often valuing their own life energy and light so deeply that they have the strength to leave the situation. During a breakup, it is important to focus on what you gained from the relationship instead of thinking of it as an overall loss. 6. Can I fix an unresolved issue with a loved one who has died? Many of my clients are seeking a connection to their loved ones on the other side. They may feel that there are unresolved issues of resentment or regret that they worry will have no resolution now that their loved one has passed. When we pass we see a sort of movie of our lives through our eyes but also the eyes of everyone around us. We gain a deeper understanding of any wrongs we have done. So, if you feel there is someone who has passed that may have hurt you take comfort in knowing they now understand the pain they caused and are seeking forgiveness. Relationships don’t end at death. Death should be viewed as a doorway, not a boundary or ending. Maybe you’re looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right. Maybe you’re feeling stuck in an unhealthy relationship or feel anxious your partner isn’t loyal. Maybe a loved one has passed before they got to say I’m sorry. Relationships of every type can be challenging, but it is important to remember the situations they create are meant to help our souls grow through lessons and in love. Love is a word that encompasses so much. Love is patience, kindness, empathy, forgiveness, trust, selflessness, faith, and strength. Try to take a step back and look at your relationship status and see what lessons are lying there in wait. My entire life I have had a close connection to the Divine, and when I turned fourteen I discovered a tool that could help me refine and focus my gifts. This tool was cartomancy, a form of divination that gives insight into the varied situations we face in our daily lives. There are many types of cartomancy, but Lenormand Cards are my personal preference. In this article, I’m going to share some of the knowledge I have acquired over the years and give you a beginners introduction to reading Lenormand Cards. What are Lenormand Cards? The history of cartomancy spans over a period of six centuries and has been around as long as playing cards have existed. I find that most people are more familiar with Tarot cards, but Lenormand cards have been used as a form of divination just as long. Lenormand is a 200-year-old system, originating from the center of Europe, that consists of 36 cards. The cards are made of simple, straightforward images that are used to explain literal not psychological issues. Madame Lenormand and the History of Lenormand Cards The cards were created in the late 18th century, and many of their symbols were inspired by those commonly found in coffee ground readings. The oldest surviving deck is on exhibit in the British Museum in London and is from 1799 or 1800. Originally Lenormand cards were just a parlor game called “The Game of Hope.” However, as years passed the images on the cards showed themselves fitting for more mystical purposes. It wasn’t until the mid-19th century, after Madame Lenormand’s death that the cards began to bear her name. It is rumored, and to my belief, that she had a custom set of the same exact cards that are used today, which were her own adaption of the deck. Madame Lenormand was the most celebrated psychic of her time and had associations with honorable figures such as Robespierre, Marat (both French revolutionaries), Empress Josephine (the wife of Napoleon Bonaparte) and Tsar Alexander I of Russia. After her death, the Lenormand cards rose in popularity amongst the occult circles of continental Europe. Over the next century and a half, the intrigue and love for the deck spread to the Low Countries, Central Europe, the Balkans, Russia, and even Brazil. During this period the English-speaking world was engrossed with Tarot, it wasn’t until the 21st century that the Lenormand deck would find its place in the occult circles of this world. Lenormand Cards and Their Uses The Lenormand cards provide another way of understanding the complexities of your own mind - helping you strategically plan out possible courses and actions that you can take. I am a strong believer in ‘we all have answers inside of us’ sometimes we just need guidance along the path to finding them. Lenormand cards show you the clear path while the card reader guides you along the route they present. The path is shown through simple yet effective universal symbols that the reader pulls together as if they were beads on a string. The meanings within the Lenormand cards reveal themselves as if they were a story meant to be narrated by the card reader. Whether you choose to interpret just two cards or spread out a full Grand Tableau utilizing the entire deck, you can use Lenormand as a tool for self-development and spiritual discovery. Through my readings, I can make the answers to your questions about your relationships, career, family matters and almost anything clear. I believe that this clarity the Lenormand deck enables me to give to you will allow you to trust your own intuition and make real, everyday decisions with confidence. That is the true power of the Lenormand deck and why it is my cartomancy of choice, it is a frank way of tackling your real-life issues with astonishing accuracy. |
