Pay It Forward! Find Out How Far Back This Concept Goes And How You Can Easily Pay It Forward8/21/2019 Kindness is something that everyone can practice. By being kind to others, people can learn how rewarding it is to do good things for others. When you do good deeds, people really appreciate it and they want to return the favor to do something kind for you. When someone wants to repay your kindness, you can ask him or her to pay it forward by doing a good deed for someone else. You are helping to spread kindness to more people.
Ask people to repay your kindness by paying it forward by doing good deeds for three other people. Then he or she should tell those three people, to spread kindness to another three people. This may snowball into a kindness movement. Your one good deed will turn into multiple good deeds and those good deeds will quickly multiply from there. The pay it forward concept has been around for thousands of years. It was key in the plot of an ancient Greek play called Dyskolos. Throughout the years, many famous people have written or spoken about the concept. There is even a movie with the title, Pay It Forward. How can you start a pay it forward movement? Ask a few friend or family members to brainstorm some ways to pay it forward. Here are a few ways for you to lead by example: start carrying around a couple trash bags with you and start picking up trash in your neighborhood and if someone wants to join in, give him or her a trash bag. Help an elderly person with carrying their groceries to their car. Visit an old folk’s home and read stories aloud to them or talk to them for a time. My favorite pay it forward is at a drive thru! A little kindness goes a long way. Kindness can be contagious. If you cannot ask people to pay it forward, you have still planted a seed, they see what you did, things like kindness stick with people. Hate does not. This is your intuition speaking to you and you should trust that gut feeling. There are signs that your intuition is correct. At times, you feel like you know something, this is your intuition speaking to you. Intuition may be described as a mental matching game because your brain assesses a situation, scans its files and finds its best analogue among your vast memories and knowledge to develop a hunch about the situation. Your intuition is mostly likely always on point. It is just a matter of learning to trust it.
Your dreams and intuition come from your unconscious. You should keep a journal by your bedside to write down your vivid dreams because this could be information from your unconscious. When looking at a clock, do you happen to look at the exact same time? This can be your intuition relating to unconscious information in your brain. When you are highly sensitive to how others are feeling, this is a sign of being intuitive. Being in tune to what people feel, you are more likely to notice how to act and handle certain situations. At times, you will know when you are getting sick and that your body has to rest. Listen to your body and trust when something is feeling off. Have you ever thought of someone and then that person is calling you? This is your intuition totally on point. Something registered in your friend connection to get on a call. When you feel unsafe, never doubt your gut feeling. If your gut is screaming not to go down an unlit path, find another route. Trust your gut and do not proceed, if you are feeling uncomfortable or unsafe. Trust your instinct while doing activities. If you have highly qualified skills, you have developed instinct and muscle memory. Listen to your instinct and intuition and they will guide you. Business is constantly changing and there is data that helps you make accurate decisions for your business. However, when it comes to picking your team and doing right by them, intuition plays a major role. Our gut feelings are attached to information stored in our brains. When you know someone well, you can predict his or her reactions. That is your intuition being on point. Learn to trust your intuition and go with your gut. One way to gain confidence in trusting your intuition is keep a journal of these ‘incidences’ see if there’s a pattern to them. You may find your new ‘sensitivity’ will lead you to beautiful places and on amazing journeys. We all do have a direct pipeline to the Divine and the other side, all it takes is practice! Spirituality and psychic abilities reside in each of us and the more connected we are, the more our Third Eye Chakra opens, at times you will actually feel it opening.
Each day, we receive messages and feelings but, since we are constantly on the move, it is difficult to calm our minds enough to understand and interpret these messages. I find this is where meditation will benefit. Sit quietly, always have back straight, you always want to be in proper alignment, find a focal point (you can use any kind of focal point a candle a tarot, card, I personally use the Lenormand Key card) then focus on your breathing in and out slowly. Start by clearing the negativity from your mind. Set your intention ask Spirit to come around you, also you may or may not want to ask a question. After your setting your intention then picture your third eye opening, feel it opening. Eventually you will feel a pressure right there where your Third Eye is opening as you practice. Now see feel and hear what is coming through? What are you seeing, hearing or feeling through your third eye? Be consistent and keep a journal. Keep your motives pure and your instincts will develop. Practice reading for friends, since we have a tendency to read what we wish rather than the truth, this is why its a good idea to practice reading for friends or family. Calm your mind and listen for the answers. Do not be afraid to be incorrect because it might not be true in at this moment in time but it could be something that will come in the future. Get your mind used to a sequence and be aware that you must not try to control, if your mind controls, say, going to kids your job, just acknowledge this and go back to feeling and seeing what is coming through your Third Eye. What does Spirit wants you to know? You are there to be guided. Note: Spirit always hears you, you may not receive the message during that meditation, it could pop out in our mind while doing laundry or driving. SPIRIT ALWAYS HEARS YOU Overcome your fear of being wrong when reading friends. And nothing you say is wrong, you just haven’t honed it properly yet. Fear is not a reality only a feeling. ALWAYS, do this work with sincere integrity and the intention to heal and give peace. Practice and perseverance will make your gift stronger. Be open, set the intention to heal and give peace. Remember you are a pipeline by which knowledge comes through. Keep practicing these skills and it will become easier over time. Manifestation! Everyone can manifest what he or she wants in his or her lives. Here are some tips on how to manifest. We will explore how to manifest any desire in your life and we will show how we are always manifesting. Our minds are quite powerful and we can wield this power to make what we want our reality. The mind makes the course for how you will live and the heart has the deep yearning for what you must do.
Remember, we are a co-creator with the universe and if you believe we are part of the greater whole, then you choose what you are able to manifest. We only need to decide everything we want. Observe your thoughts and you will start to see how you are always manifesting. Your thoughts determine how you feel and your mood influences what you are thinking. We are always bringing into our lives what we desire most as well as what we do not want. This is determined by our focus and energy directed at something. Start by focusing on something you would like to witness, to experience or to know. Take a few moments to visualize what your desire and focus on it. Now, focus on this desire occurring now. Feel the emotions that accompany this desire. Visualize it as it is complete here and now. Notice any feelings and where you feel them in your body and how do you feel as you visualize this presently. Manifesting is seeing and feeling the future you want presently and then taking steps to make it a reality. There are two very powerful words when manifesting… “I AM.” Pretend you have what you want and what you are. Daydreaming, imagining, and pretending are all ways of manifesting. When you manifest something that is more complex or takes time, you may feel like giving up when it doesn’t happen but do not give up. As we age, we become distracted by what is not working and our problems and this can become our constant focus without realizing that this focus brings more of the same. A secret to manifesting is to focus on the outcome you most desire. Manifesting is co-creating something you do not see yet. When you become distracted and focus on what currently is and not what you desire, this is discouraging. However, continue to manifest what you want and move in the direction you want. Always be grateful and thankful for what you currently have and for what is coming to you. Set aside some alone time to practice manifesting by using your imagination and intentional focus. Take a few minutes a day, to stop and feel this desire wholly. Use I AM to make this your reality. Let yourself take in those feelings that arise. This is how you manifest most effectively. Be unwavering in what you want and hold this belief. Act as what you most desire is already here now. Practice stating what you want quietly and aloud to bring clarity into what you want. Be deliberate in your actions and live your life as if what you are asking for is already here. Take the action steps. Use your imagination and your willingness to live this way now is how to manifest it fully. Remember, you are able to manifest some desires instantly and that we are manifesting each moment. Each action begins as a thought, an idea or a desire. When you realize that we are always manifesting, it makes us more accountable to our thoughts and our actions. Everything is yours to decide. Align yourself with your desires by being clear about what you want and then taking deliberate action towards your wants. Your focus must be deliberate and steadfast as you take the steps towards accomplishing your desire. Co-creating with the universe may occur instantly or may take several weeks, months or years depending on certain factors. In order to have all the pieces in place for larger manifestation, you need to continue your focus and attention to it. Your job is to be ready, show up, be clear and flexible. Be bold in asking for your desire and do not settle for anything less. Practice your laser focus that will direct your want into your life. Co-create more deliberately and start manifesting your dream life. What do you fear? Does fear control your life? It can be uncomfortable and crippling. However, being fearless means knowing how to leverage your fear(s). Fear is part of your brain and run from the depths of your limbic system to your prefrontal cortex. When these networks are stimulated, they produce fear. Having fear is a normal brain function.
Each person responds to fear differently. It may cause an unpleasant experience that ranges from mild to paralyzing. Chronic stress, constant worry and daily insecurity may seriously harm your physical and mental health over time. Fear is part instinct, part learned and partly taught. Pain is instinctual because it useful in survival. We learn fear of certain people, places or situations because negative associations and experiences. Cultural norms are taught and often dictate whether something should be feared or not. Due to our efficient brains, we begin to fear a range of stimuli that are not necessarily scary or even present. We start to imagine what could happen and hence the fearful response. We create the fear in our minds and this objectless fear can turn into chronic anxiety about nothing specific, which in returns becomes debilitating. Your fear response becomes amplified when you’re already in a state of fear and even harmless events seem scary. Fear dictates the actions you take and these actions are divided into four types- freeze, fight, flight or fright. When you freeze, you stop what you are doing and focus on the fearful stimulus in deciding what to do next. Then you choose to either fight or flight. When the fear becomes overwhelming, you experience fright and you are cannot do anything. Being constantly in fright mode, may lead to hopelessness and depression. Everyone reacts differently to threats. Imagine threats cause paralysis and you fail to take any action. Real threats cause frenzy and you jump to action immediately. Learn to leverage your fear to use it to your benefit. When you know what you are scared of, it is easier to overcome your phobia. It gives you a point of reference and something real to focus on. Once you know what it is, then you can start to understand your fear. First, address your thoughts and attitudes about your fear and then combat your physical response. You can begin to repair your faulty thinking by discussing your fears with others. Next take action against your phobias by coming face-to-face with your fear. You can do this by spending time with someone who deals on a regular basis with what you fear. Once you can face someone else dealing with your face, then you can tackle it yourself little by little. Do not let your face paralyze your day-to-day routine. Start facing your fears and start living in the present. Mercury retrograde can cause things to feel out of order. It can bring confusion and complications to our everyday lives. Mercury retrograde occurs several times a year and it is Mercury speeding past Earth.
During this time, people are prone to taking things out of context and misconstruing messages. Mercury retrograde is all about communication but you will face some roadblocks. People should expect to hear some uncomfortable truths during this time. You will need to reevaluate facts to determine the truthfulness of it. Mercury retrograde brings much self-reflection on our actions and the actions of others. Many challenges that people face during this time are related to the fact that we are coming into Leo season and Leo is known to be a commanding and authoritative sign that tends to say things without thinking first. Leos are very prideful and when Mercury is in retrograde, people say things that come off as arrogant. There will be a lunar eclipse on July 16 and after Mercury retrograde transitions back into Cancer. You should reflect on your communication struggles from earlier in the retrograde. The eclipse on July 16th is about letting go of people who are not at our level, letting go of the past, the power struggles and the love triangles. Use the end of retrograde to make amends and to decide if it is even worth it. No more drama should be your mantra at this time. Count to three before responding to someone and let yourself cool off before you respond. In today’s fast paced communication, it is ok to take a pause before responding to anyone. THE QUESTION: What’s my day going to be like? Scythe Book Man Scythe = Sudden Break, Divisive Book = Secret, Hidden Information Man = A Man (or querent if querent is a man) The book is our focus card meaning our day will involve some kind of hidden information or secret. We know that the secret will be revealed and the secret is most likely about a man. Do you feel other people’s emotions and are aware of other people’s pain? Then you might be an empath. Empaths are people who are highly aware of other people’s emotions and they view the world differently by being aware of others pain and what they need emotionally. Highly sensitive people are likely to be empaths but not all highly sensitive people are empaths. Read below to learn more about empath’s traits.
Empaths take on other people’s emotions. They feel the emotion as if it was their own. If you are an empath, you are likely to notice changes in expression, body language or changes in tone of voice to sense what others are feeling. Empaths are excellent leaders because they listen to their team and they build common goals. They listen and pay attention when someone is speaking with them, which leads to every person having a voice. Lastly, empaths want to help people who are in pain. They respond to people and to the needs of others. This is where their healing ability comes into play to create a better world. Some people define intuition as knowing without knowing, and to some, intuition is more powerful than intellect. It is always with us, whether or not we are aware of that fact. Most people tune out their intuition, but to lead a full life, a person needs to feed and nurture his/her intuition. There have been studies done that suggest that intuition is how humans interact with our environment and how we make many of our decisions.
How can you tap into your intuition? Listen to your inner voice and pay attention to what it is guiding you to. To make the best decisions, balance your intuition with rational thinking. By seeking a balance between the two, you can use all your brain’s resources. Intuitive people take time to reflect because a little solitude can help connect you to your deepest inner wisdom. Take time to reconnect with yourself in order to engage in deeper thought. Creative people are more in touch with their intuition. By increasing your creativity, you can also boost your intuition. Be mindful and try to meditate. Mindfulness can help to tame the brain, which in turns makes it easier to tap into your intuition. With mindfulness, you can boost your self-knowledge which in turns gives us a better understanding of our inner workings. Observe the world around you. Keep a journal and write down little things that occur. This will help you gain a sense of how often coincidences and surprising connections occur, thereby allowing you to tap into your intuition. Listen to your body and your gut feelings. Intuitions can manifest physically so if you are feeling sick to your stomach when something was wrong but cannot express why, it is most likely your intuition. Intuitive people connect deeply with others. When you connect deeply with someone, you can tap into their being from their words, emotions and body language. This is partly from your power of empathy but it also stems from your intuition. Pay attention to your dreams. Dreams are similar to intuition, in the fact, that they both stem from the unconscious. During your dreams, you are getting information about how to live your life from your intuitive part of your brain Take time to relax because when you are constantly on the move, connected to your devices and are stress, you can repress your intuition. Sometimes, your intuition is telling you something but you are too busy to listen to it. Negativity can adversity effect our intuition. When you are angry or depressed, your intuition may fail you. When you are in a positive mood, you will boost your intuition. It is ok to get angry or to have negative emotions but mindfully accept these emotions and let them go in order to let your intuition to thrive. I believe newborns, toddlers and pre schoolers are the most intuitive. Unfortunately, as we grow are taught to only believe what we see and not so much what we feel. That inner voice gets pushed to the background more and more. It's time to bring back your inner voice. |
