Tap into Your Psychic Self - Your Spiritual Journey
I bet you never thought you could possibly have psychic abilities. Maybe you thought it’s something you either have or you don’t; something that you’re born with; that you had long known you had since you were fairly young. Or maybe you thought that psychic people have to rely on tarot cards, crystals, pendulums, reading tea leaves or crystal balls. In fact, that is so far from the truth. Everyone has the ability to be psychic, even though you don’t realize it. What you need to do is develop it so that you’re able to connect with your intuitive self, something that will allow your psychic side to come to and let you know with out a doubt, ‘I am here! Listen to me’. Here are some things you can do to boost and strengthen your connection with your intuition.
Practice mindfulness meditation. In other words, be in the moment, acutely aware of your surroundings. For example, if you’re in a park or even a bar or restaurant, be attentive to the colors, sounds, textures and everything else around you. Do this frequently during the week. And eventually, you’ll be able to pick up even ever so slight changes in the energy of your environment.
Find the energy field of objects. This is referred to as psychometry. You can start with a small piece of metal jewelry, for example. Sit in a quiet place with the object in the palm of your hand. Then, with your eyes closed, take slow deep breaths. You may feel a slight tingling in your hands. Pay attention to any pictures in your mind write it down. Focus on sensations or smells that come up. Do you smell smoke with this object? Maybe the owner was a cigar or cigarette smoker. Focusing in on what your intuitive side is telling you. Here is a great way to practice, Psychic Medium go to antique stores and pick up objects and see what I see and feel. It’s very interesting.
Get in touch with your Spirit Guides. You can do this by meditating in a quiet place where you can sit uninterrupted in a position that you find comfortable, but always be in alignment. Ask to connect with your Guide or Guides who will assist you in your intuitive growth, visualize the appearance of your guide. Ask your Guide to let you know they are with you, I have always felt a soft touch on my face when a Guide is near. You may smell them or feel a tug on your hair, it is a personal thing. What is the guide’s name? As you concentrate on this, ask yourself what personality does your guide have? Once you first connect with your guide, it will be easier to do so again. Your guide is there to answer your questions and help you on your spiritual journey. To assist in your connection, you might want to pick out an object that you’ll focus on and that may act as a stimulus for connecting with your guide.
Connecting with your guides is always a very comforting, secure and peaceful feeling, you will start to look forward to your meditations.
Many Blessings on your Spiritual Journey✨
If you’re new to Tarot cards, discovering that there are also Lenormand and Oracle decks may make it all way too confusing. Here’s what you need to know to distinguish these three different decks.
You may already know that Tarot contains 78 cards, and this deck is divided into 22 symbolic images, which carry myriad meanings, and 56 cards grouped into four suits: Pentacles, Cups, Wands and Swords. When using these cards to address a person’s life story, one needs to not just study the cards but also interpret them. Because Tarot requires study, there is a greater sense of rigidity to them compared with Oracle and Lenormand cards. Some people, however, may be unnecessarily put off by Tarot, which is such a large deck, where each card has a meaning that must be studied.
A Lenormand deck consists of three dozen cards that are less open to interpretation compared with Tarot. Rather, the meanings of Lenormand cards are more succinct, straightforward and easy to use. The cards carry symbols that can, when strung together, form a basic meaning and paint a vivid picture. This deck, in essence, is much less about spiritual aims — as Tarot is — and more about practicality. Whatever symbols come up in the spread, it’s up to the reader to interpret the meaning based on the context. So, for example, the Anchor can mean not able to adapt to a situation or it could refer to a sense of stability. It depends on the context of the reading.
Oracle decks are perhaps the most popular of the three forms of cartomancy, because, among the reasons, they don’t require study and are, therefore, more accessible. Also, each of the cards comes with keywords that can make it easier for newbies to use. There is no set number of cards in a deck: there could be just a dozen cards or some ten dozen or anything in between. Oracle is quite flexible and fluid, whereby each deck is different from the other in terms of its themes and art and, therefore, the system and vocabulary of the deck.
